Santorum: Being Female is a Mental Disorder

It has been my experience that when dealing with females, you need to treat them as though they have a mental disorder… especially those that are constantly seeking equality in the workplace, the military, and in the home. Women need to know their place and need to know when it is okay for them to speak. They were put on this earth for two reasons, and two reasons alone: taking care of their husband, and giving birth to his children… that is all. Any woman who tells you otherwise is obviously touting the liberal agenda of equality, and they need to be told the truth of their purpose. It is a disorder that can be fixed, but not until they go through several years of therapy to understand that they need to be subservient.

So, because we believe that we deserve equality that means we have a mental disorder? Do I have a mental disorder because I want to achieve more in life than being a housewife and mother? Is a woman considered mentally disabled if she has a dream or at the very least strives to be considered equal to the men that she works with? Rick Santorum, how can you possibly expect anyone to vote for you when you say such extremely sexist things like this?

I can’t believe any dude trying to run for president would have the sense to say this to ANYONE publicly, this seems almost too douchey to be real. Don’t get me wrong, I firmly believe Rick Santorum is a douchebag but I don’t know if I can believe this quote unless I heard it directly come from his mouth in a recording or something.

Tracked it down; this is satire. Just about blew a gasket in the meantime. It’s sad how believable it is though, for him to have said such a thing. If he actually said something like this, I would be outraged…but in no way surprised.
